Since saving Eugene's iconic WOW Hall from demolition in 1975, Community Center for the Performing Arts has provided collaborative space and arts programs that have established it as a fixture in Oregon's cultural sector. CCPA is a membership organization with a nine-person board elected by the members, giving us unique opportunity to respond to community interests. Thanks to our small staff and invaluable base of hundreds of volunteers, we keep overhead low. Thus, we can offer a wide variety of programming at affordable prices while also stewarding a National Register-listed building and making it available for civic gatherings, private rentals, and diverse other activities. With one of the few "floating" dance floors in the PNW, we are particularly popular as a dance venue. Our patrons annually include 30,000+ ticketed patrons, 5,000+ music/dance class attendees, and thousands more community partners joining for other events. Moreover, we compensate hundreds of artists each year.
