Eugene Area Chamber of Commerce Names Quick-Warner President/CEO The Board of Directors of the Eugene Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce Brittany Quick-Warner as the chamber's next president and CEO. The chamber's director of business advocacy since 2014, Quick-Warner assumed the additional role of interim president and CEO in January 2017. The selection was made by unanimous vote at the board's Sept. 26 meeting. "Brittany was the clear choice of the search committee," said Nigel Francisco, CFO for Ninkasi Brewing and committee chair. "She has done an outstanding job as our advocacy director, and really stepped up to support our organization through a time of great transition as interim president. We had a chance to work even more closely with her over the past nine months and were impressed with her leadership and vision for our community. We saw no reason to look any further to find our next leader." Francisco added that the committee had received many strong endorsements of Quick- Warner from chamber staff, community leaders, members and others. "The Eugene Area Chamber of Commerce has a long history of success in advocating on behalf of local businesses and working to support our community by improving our regional economy," Quick-Warner said. "I am incredibly fortunate to have been mentored by one of our community’s great leaders and I look forward to carrying on his legacy of excellence and collaboration. I am excited to work with our business leaders and community members on a vision that will honor our shared history and continue to move our organization and community forward.” Quick-Warner succeeds Dave Hauser, the chamber's longtime president who passed away in June. A native of Missouri, Quick-Warner moved to Eugene in 2012. She holds two degrees from the University of Missouri, a master's degree in public administration with a focus in nonprofit management and an undergraduate degree in soil, environmental and atmospheric science. She has been active in the community since her arrival, serving as a board member of BRING Recycling, Better Eugene Springfield Transportation and the Junior League of Eugene as well as serving on the Eugene Sustainability Commission. She and her husband, Erik, have been small business owners since 2012. They own Blue Bus Creatives, a media production company.
