Event Description: The Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s will take place on Sunday, October 8, at Alton Baker Park in Eugene. Approximately 1,000 people from the Eugene area are expected at this year’s event to raise awareness and funds to fight Alzheimer’s disease. Walk participants will complete a walk around the park and will learn about Alzheimer's disease, advocacy opportunities, clinical studies enrollment and support programs and services from the Alzheimer’s Association. Participants will also join in a meaningful tribute ceremony to honor those affected by Alzheimer's disease. Register today. Sign up as a Team Captain, join a team or register to walk as an individual at alz.org/walk.
