Event Description:
It's time for the annual Spring Plant Sale and Garden Fair, presented by the Lane County Master Gardeners Association. This year we bring together a HUGE selection of plants, trees, shrubs and berries, Master Gardener creations, the garden journal, the new MG Cookbook and a used book sale, along with artists and other vendors specializing in the best for your garden. Check out the informative booths staffed by local organizations, 4H, Master Food Preservers and Master Recyclers. Ask an OSU Master Gardener to answer your gardening questions. Bring the kids by the “Kid Zone” to learn about Square foot gardening and fun garden crafts. Talk worms with the Compost specialist and then take a break with a cup of coffee and something sweet, while you enjoy the hourly presentations from the Master Gardener Specialty groups. We will have a large Silent Auction from 9 a.m. - noon, a Bucket Raffle, a Free Plant Check to hold your purchases while you shop the vendors and a potting station where Master Gardeners are ready to pot up your newly purchased plants with free potting soil, bring your favorite pots. Admission is FREE, free parking and we take cash, checks and credit cards (3% processing fee).
