Event Description:
Gardeners and Mother's Day gift shoppers, plant collectors and plant-bargain sleuths, all are invited to the largest garden art and plant sale of its kind between San Francisco and Portland, Oregon, on the day before Mother's Day. Seven area garden clubs from Eugene, Junction City, Oakridge, Cottage Grove, Springfield, and Veneta will be offering many plants, shrubs, and trees from their gardens. Also, many speciality vendors from up and down the Willamette Valley will be offering your favorite perrenials, shrubs and trees, including vegetable starts, grafted tomatoes, clematis, dahlias, native plants, ferns, grasses, bamboos, blooming rhododendrons and azaleas, as well as garden art and trellises. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Proceeds benefit local garden clubs which donate plants, time and expertise to the community through workshops, lectures and the maintenance of some public gardens.
Directions:
Plant Fair will be held in Alton Baker Park in and around the shelters.
