Seventy-three years after the first generation of the Gibson family started Lochmead Farms, the 3rd, 4th and 5th generations continue that legacy with a dairy of 660 cows, a dairy processing plant and more than 40 Dari Mart convenience stores. They are proud to say their milk goes from cow to customer within 48 hours. It travels only four miles from the farm to the dairy and is sold within a 60-mile radius of the dairy farm. This makes them the most carbon footprint-friendly dairy in Oregon!
