I live in Eugene and represented Central Lane and Linn Counties in the Oregon House of Representatives (2001-2019). The District includes the University of Oregon and the main Campus of Lane Community College, Creswell, Coburg, Walterville, Brownsville, Harrisburg, Halsey, Sodaville, and parts or all of several smaller communities in the area.
After leaving the legislature, I started the Emerald Valley Electric Vehicle Association, a chapter of the Electric Vehicle Association which has about 100 chapters world wide. As an entirely voluntary association we promote the switch to electric transportation by encouraging supportive legislation and informing families and individuals of the advantage of electric vehicles.
