Woman Business Leader of the Year Winner

Congratulations to Bev Smith (KIDSPORTS, Civic Alliance) winner of our 2016 Woman Business Leader of the year award. Bev was gracious as she accepted the award, acknowledging that though she has received many accolades as an Olympian and coach, this was particularly meaningful.

Bev was nominated by Celeste Edman and in her nomination she said, "If I could sum up Bev Smith in one word, it would be 'dedicated.' I’ve never met anyone else who so completely commits to goals and her team in the way that she does. (She) has revolutionized KIDSPORTS and is on her way to revolutionizing amateur sports as a whole in our region."

Also recognized were Celeste Edman (Lunar Logic) and Gretchen Dubie (Oregon Supported Living Program). Our keynote speaker was our 2015 winner, Julie Daniel (BRING, retired)
