Event Description:
As a marketer, you’re frequently called upon to pack a powerful story into the least space. Shortcut that writing process by borrowing from the classic Hero’s Journey. Whether you’re writing about company products, services, successes, or missions, the Hero’s Journey structure can work for you. Mary-Kate Mackey presents the 10-step progression to sharpen your focus and drive home your points. Join us for Emerald Marketing Association's January Lunch, Learning, and Networking event at Valley River Inn. Mary-Kate is an award-winning writer and author of the newly released Write Better Right Now—A Reluctant Writer’s Guide to Confident Communication and Self-assured Style from Career Press. She taught for fourteen years in the UO’s School of Journalism and Communication and now presents writing seminars around the U.S.
