Event Description:
SIREN Stories: The Art of Storytelling $5 - $15 sliding scale (scholarships are available) SIREN Stories is a workshop for girls ages 10-18 that will explore storytelling and spoken word, different ways to tell stories, how to write and perform, and techniques to help with stage fright. For any girl interested in creative writing and storytelling - experience is not required! Facilitated by founder of SIREN, Melissa Kusiolek and OP interns. Pre-registration is required. To register, call (541) 284-4333 or email info@opheliasplace.net. Girls new to Ophelia's Place are required to schedule an orientation within 2 weeks of attending an ongoing class.
Directions:
Ophelia's Place is located in the former Girl Scouts space in the big green building on the corner of Pearl and 16th, below Womenspace.
