Senior Export Finance Manager of the Export-Import Bank of the United States (Exim) Jim Lucchesi will be at the Eugene Area Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday, January 17th for a one-hour luncheon program on export credit.
Ex-Im Bank has partnered with the Oregon Business Development Dept. (Business Oregon) on a City/State Partnership to help foster outreach and participation in the federal program. Ex-Im Bank is the official export-credit agency of the United States. The independent federal government agency helps to create and maintain U.S. jobs by financing the sales of U.S. exports, primarily to emerging markets throughout the world, providing loan guarantees, export-credit insurance and direct loans
Jim Lucchesi is a Senior Export Finance Manager in Eximbank’s San Francisco Satellite Office, which is part of Eximbank’s Western Region Business Development Group. Lucchesi was hired by Eximbank in 1999 to open the San Francisco office. Before Joining Eximbank, Lucchesi was a commercial banker with 30 years of International and Trade Finance Experience. He spent 13 years with Wells Fargo, which included positions in credit, marketing and management in Tokyo, Tehran, Istanbul and Toronto. Additional positions were Manager Project Finance at the Royal Bank of Canada, Manager of First Chicago’s (JP Morgan Chase) Los Angeles Edge Act and the Export Finance Group in New York and Manager Trade Finance and Structured Trade Finance at Bank of America in New York and San Francisco.
