Event Description:
The Blackberry bRamble bicycle ride will take place on Sunday, August 7, 2011, in the beautiful farm and forest land southwest of Eugene. Whether you’ve chosen the 100-mile Century, the 62-mile Metric Century, the 39-mile Sub-Century, the 10 or 20-mile Community Ride, you’ll arrive back at Amazon Park to find a bike celebration in progress, with bike-powered music, local vendors, a bike rodeo and tricycle race for the kids, great food, a beer garden, and much more. If you’re hot and tired, cool off with a swim at Amazon Pool for only $1. Overnight camping on Saturday before the ride at the park is available. This event is limited to the first 500 riders. Proceeds from the event will be used for GEARs bicycle education classes. Call 541-933-5542 for more information or visit eugenegears.org.
