Event Description:
If achieving Operational Excellence and Staying Ahead in the market place is on your radar screen, then you will benefit from knowing and doing the practices of Lean Enterprise. Interested in attaining higher quality, lower costs, faster through-put, and faster delivery of products and services? This course is designed to introduce participants to the principles underlying Lean Enterprise to achieve Highest Quality, Lower Costs, and Faster Throughput and Delivery. Included in the training are essential concepts of one-piece flow, 5-S, kanban, and workplace design. The class includes a simulated production and systems workflow that provides participants with a hands-on learning experience. Objectives: At the conclusion of this training, participants will be able to: 1. Define Lean Enterprise and how Lean can improve Processes & Profits, 2. Identify the “Eight Wastes” that can be eliminated thru Lean, 3. Differentiate between Value-Added and Non-Value-Added activities, 4. Apply various Lean implementation tools in a simulation setting, 5. Describe how Lean Principles can impact the success of your organization. Brown bag lunch or visit one of the nearby restaurants.
